One of the hippest areas in Southern Bali is undoubtedly the energetic town of Seminyak. Although Seminyak might seem very un-Balinese at first glance, the resort is quite authentic. Seminyak is treasured for its excitingly funky nightlife, yet deluxe resorts and villas have noticeably mushroomed over the last decade or so. Many sumptuous villas are hidden on narrow roads from the main street towards the quiescent village life. Seminyak is no less cherished, however, as a shopping haven.
